I often start my paintings with covering the paper with tons of water, not just the brush. And then, the excitement begins! I dip my brush in a variety of colors and let the paints soak into the water. It's fun to see the paints and colors interact and create their own art with me just standing back. Here is an example of just this type of creative exercise. The vibrancy of the colors prompted me to use a section of the painting as a patter piece for the textile design below. Try this process out! Do you like what you see? Contact me so we can make a custom #scarf or another item for you from one of these #textile prints.
