My Healing Garden series focuses on gardens as symbols of joy and safety. Having grown up in a wonderful garden in Prague, I pay close attention to flowers and how much beauty they bring into our lives. On a recent trip to New York City, my friend and I enjoyed visiting art museums and eating yummy food, but, of course, I had to snap photos of stunning bouquets in flowers shops. This Healing Garden (#9) artwork is inspired by one of my photos. Enjoy the process: from a sketch, to coloring the background, to a finished painting with intricate patterns.
