Tuesday art workshop at @kensingtonrowbookshop was such a wonderful experience. In these series of classes, we explore the role of words in our lives and transform them into visual stories. Our word for this workshop was “landscape”. One student processed the recent Notre Dame fire through an abstract piece: aerial view of the tower with flames coming up as sun set on Paris. Another student recalled her love for the Ganges river in India and captured it through long lines of colored watercolor paper. The next workshop is on May 21. Sign up here.
