Words in Mary Oliver's poem "Gardener" inspired the title. This piece honors my mom's love for flowers. I have inherited this love from her and every time I am surrounded by nature, I am reminded of my mom. Bloom, grass, sky, birds chirping - these fill my painting with life and positive energy.
Story behind my art ... I love reading and grab words or snippets of text out of books. I write them down and they become titles for my visual explorations.
