This painting is inspired by a line in Mary Oliver's poem, "Song for Autumn". Aerial view of Earth? Maybe. More like the coolness of grass, the dirt on my fingers, the warmth of sun rays, gentle footsteps, dandelions swaying in the wind. Touching the Earth is splendid.
Story behind my art: I love reading and grab words or snippets of text out of books. I write them down and they become titles for my visual explorations. I aim to grasp the perceived meanings of these words through colors, shapes, and textures, in a meditative collection of colorful artworks. My series is called "Visual Insights into Life's Beauty." Enjoy!
