Today's watercolor class at a retirement community in Rockville, MD, explored birds and how we could paint the most colorful bird using our imagination. The class attendees enjoyed playing with long brush strokes and small dots creating a lovely scene. We chatted the class away. It makes me so happy when I get to bring a fun activity to people who may have not painted in a very long time, or never. I always enjoy hearing, "Oh, I didn't know I could do this." So much fun.
