My student was telling me about her family's vacation in Florida. She loved it: the warm air, the fun outdoor activities. So, in today's private lesson, we searched through her photos and picked one to turn into art! A shot out of the plane's window inspired two separate pieces. One in crayons and one in watercolors. My students learned about two different mediums and was able to experience them and decide which one she enjoyed more. And the answer is: the crayons. Such a fun afternoon of exploring and art!
