Today's storm brought in lower temperatures and the perfect opportunity for art! As soon as I walked into the door of a local retirement community, it started raining and my students gathered for a watercolor workshop inspired by the art of Henri Matisse. We focused on his study of a cat in a room. My students enjoyed combining colors, creating large colorful areas, and then adding intricate patterns to liven up the space. What a fun class!
