What a fun project! I became familiar with the work of Washington DC-based photographer Elizabeth B Sullivan on Instagram and asked her whether I could use a photo of hers - called "Downpour" - as inspiration for a painting. I so enjoyed the textures of her photo and spent a bit of time creating a visually textural abstract watercolor on yupo. My artwork is 4" x 6" (and has sold) and is also part of a blog on the Montgomery Art Association's website. Enjoy and be sure to visit Elizabeth's website.
Don’t just take it from me. Check out what my customers have to say about their experiences with my RADOST designs.
I teach art classes in the DMV area so enjoy workshop updates and testimonials from my students.
And since it's been proven that color is good for us, check back often for news about my abstract watercolor paintings. They will brighten up your day!
