I don’t post photos from all of my classes but I have to share these. A workshop at a retirement community in Rockville, MD. We painted abstract pieces inspired by Mark Rothko. Primary colors, simple geometric shapes. What really moved me is how my students treated each other and how grateful they were to be in the class. So thoughtful appreciating each other’s paintings. The nicest of compliments. Art is good for us because it gives us an opportunity to share, to connect, to build a loving community.
