I am honored to be an instructor at VisArts in Rockville, MD. This is a really cool non-profit that has an amazing array of art classes open to the public. I teach several classes there and on July 17, I lead "From Photograph to Modern Art". This class explored inspiration and how to overcome artistic block through a fun process. We used black and white photos to study lines, shapes, and textures, and then created a large scale abstract watercolor inspired by our findings. No experience necessary - I guide you through the whole process. Be on the look out for classes coming up in September!
This is what my students had to say about this class ... "Thank YOU for the class! We had a great time, as always. We love your sense of humor, your energy, and the friendly and casual vibe during the classes. Clearly we're big fans since we can't seem to stop signing up for them. I'm sure we'll see you again for more fun, new, interesting projects and techniques!"
