Quite the day today! I had the pleasure of leading two art workshops at retirement communities in the area. First, I visited an assisted living facility in Olney, Md, and we explore a landscape painting by Claude Monet. It inspired a lovely colorful windmill scene in watercolors. In the afternoon, I hopped over to Kensington, Md, and had a fun time with my students while we studied up on Pablo Picasso's Blue Period and painted interpretations of one of his artworks. Until next time ... Already looking forward to it!
