I met Lisa Hunter at Femme Fatale DC pop-up shop. She walked through the store with her husband and their baby and we struck up a conversation: about her running for DC Council (Ward 6) and about my textile design work. I admire her gumption and values and it's been a pleasure seeing her follow her dreams of working for the public. And, of course, I am so excited that she has supported my business by totally rocking my "Strength Lives Within You" scarf. Looking sharp! All the best to you, Lisa!
