It made me really happy when this piece, called “Uncovering Love”, found a new home. I submitted it to a show and it never made it in since it was claimed fast. If you follow me, you know how much I love words. I read and read and jot down words or phrases that catch my attention and then I paint these expressions. Painting “uncovering love” was a pleasure. Thinking about the role of love in my life – through my family, friendships, and relationships – made me think of circles of support and overlapping life experiences and of course, pink (which just so happens to be my favorite color). Words are powerful and I hope the intention behind “uncovering love” will bring much joy to this painting’s new owner. What do these words evoke in you?
