I loved "Marking the Infinite: Contemporary Women Artists from Aboriginal Australia". This art exhibition closed on September 9, 2018, at the Phillips Collection in Washington, DC. I was fortunate to see it and now I am inspired to use marks and basic shapes in my own abstract painting practice. Take a look below at my colorful interpretations of traditional shapes. My paintings have names and come with short stories of inspiration. You can see them in my home studio or at OAK in Kensington, MD.
