“Strong” ... I often think about what it means to be strong. I’m finding that, interestingly, it means being vulnerable. It means being flexible. But at the same time there needs to be a place somewhere inside of us that’s entirely sure of our worth and beauty. That’s what I am combining in this painting: the fluidity and the security (represented by the rectangular shape within the top color section).
